Blended Learning

An integrated teaching and learning concept is utilised in our distance learning courses (blended learning). Attendance events are combined with e-learning. The systematic integration of online and attendances phases ensures ultimate learning progress and success.

Online phases

During the online phases, you will study about 20 hours per week, flexibly from home. High-quality study materials, literature and study information are available online via the learning platform Moodle. Discussion forums, chats, wikis, web conferencing etc. is used to share content, tackle group tasks and pose queries for teaching staff.

Webinars

In our digital class-rooms there are seminars even during our online phases. We are using Adobe Connect for our Webinars. You can give it a try even before you start your studies: just come and join one of our Online Info-Sessions.

Face-to-face phases

As learning from one another is an effective learning tool, self-study is supplemented by regular attendance events. These events are used to apply, review and expand upon selected learning content. They also offer space for interactive forms of learning, such as simulation or role-playing games. The concentrated, attendance seminars are held two or three times a semester over two days: Friday afternoons and all day Saturdays.
