Master General Management – a dual master programme that is interdisciplinary and practical
By virtue of the Master in General Management - dual, you will gain all the skills required to take on a role in junior management within a company or organisation.

Programme Structure - for maximum hands-on experience
The part-time Master in General Management - dual starts in October annually and runs for 2 years. Taught through German, It consists of 10 modules as well as the final master’s thesis. Lectures take place on Friday afternoons and Saturdays.
The special feature is the strong connection between theory and practice. Apply what you’ve learned to operational tasks within the scope of various projects and document your experiences as scientific work. These reports, documenting how you transfer practical experience, are a key part of examination. Group work encourages the transfer of knowledge between students with various specialist subjects.
Programme Content
The Master General Management (dual) teaches you skills and knowledge that can be applied across different roles and sectors, and qualifies you for tasks in management and leadership. Theory and practice are strongly interconnected, as is often the case. Traditional management skills, from change and risk management, to accounting, communication and strategy, right through to entrepreneurship and innovation management are applied in practice through practical transfer projects. Renowned guest speakers complement the content with further practical perspectives.
This is how the Master General Management (dual) extends your skills and knowledge in a creative way, enabling you to solve problems based on real issues. This encouragement to think outside the box, or outside predefined structures, leads to a manner of thinking which is generalist, analytical and focussed on problem solving. These are skills which have become indispensable to companies. It contributes to project management success and allows companies to react flexibly and efficiently to the ever-growing challenges they face.
- Completed university degree (180 ECTS or 210 ECTS)
- A minimum of 12 months work experience following the primary university degree with 210 ECTS
- A minim um of 18 months work experience following the primary university degree with180 ECTS
- Applicants, who are not German nationals or do not possess a German university degree must be able to prove their proficiency in German with a special language exam (e.g. DSH exam)

Certificates and other documents which are not in English nor in German must be translated into one of these languages. Translations must be formally certified and attached to the documents.
If you are applying from a non-European country, you will need to allow for the time to have your visa processed (approx. 4-6 months).

The tuition fee for the Master General Management - dual is 12,800 Euro.

As the programme has been approved as a course of further education in accordance of the Berlin Law of Higher Education, tuition fees are normally tax deductible. The degree programme is also recognised as vocational training which usually allows some entitlement to training leave.
